Tony Rea named Perth Bears chief executive

Tony Rea has been named the new chief executive of the Perth Bears, with his appointment confirmed at an ARL Commission meeting on Wednesday. The former North Sydney hooker replaces Anthony De Ceglie, who stepped down last month. Rea takes over as the Bears work to strengthen their squad in the November 1 market ahead of their inaugural NRL season in 2027.
