Josh Addo-Carr reveals $400,000 cost of false-positive drug test

Josh Addo-Carr has revealed the financial toll of his false-positive roadside drug test, losing an estimated $400,000 in endorsement deals. Sponsors including JAC Motors, P&O Cruises, Rexona, Nike, DoorDash and Red Bull cut ties with him after the initial positive result, before his B-sample later came back negative. Parramatta are still deciding whether to keep him on his $450,000-a-season contract, with a decision expected later this week. Addo-Carr said he remains committed to the Eels and hopes to get another chance. Josh Reynolds, who returned a false positive in 2020, urged the public not to rush to judgement.
