Eels in talks with James Schiller as Roosters revamp coaching staff

Parramatta have been in talks to sign Knights winger James Schiller, who was given permission to leave Newcastle, as they prepare for Josh Addo-Carr's expected departure. The Roosters have revamped their coaching staff after the exits of Matt King, who becomes NSW coach, and Michael Cheika, who returns to rugby with the Waratahs. Former premiership winners Sam Moa and Brett Morris join Trent Robinson's staff, while Paul Momirovski steps up to coach the NSW Cup side. Veteran journalist Phil Rothfield will also return to Triple M's NRL coverage full-time in 2027.
