Cameron Murray ruled out of Kangaroos' clash with Cook Islands, David Fifita added to bench

Cameron Murray has been ruled out of Australia's final World Cup pool match against the Cook Islands in Townsville after reporting general soreness and battling a minor illness. David Fifita has been added to the bench in his place, giving him the chance to push for a spot in the knockout stage after his Test debut against Fiji. Murray is expected to be fit for Australia's semi-final against Samoa or Tonga at Allianz Stadium next week. Coach Kevin Walters said the Kangaroos are yet to hit their best form but believes their best football is still ahead of them.
