Storm launch $12 million retention drive with offers to Harry Grant and Stefano Utoikamanu

Melbourne have launched a retention drive worth more than $12 million ahead of November 1, tabling extensions to captain Harry Grant and prop Stefano Utoikamanu. Grant has been offered a three-year deal worth well over $1 million a season, which would make him one of the highest-paid players in the game, while Utoikamanu has been offered four years. The Storm have also offered Cameron Munster a two-year deal worth about $1.5 million and opened talks with winger Xavier Coates. Grant and Utoikamanu are still expected to test the market to gauge their value, with the Titans watching Grant and the Roosters, freed up by withdrawing their Sam Walker offer, monitoring Utoikamanu.
