Titans ready $1 million bid for Harry Grant if he hits free agency
The Gold Coast Titans are set to make a $1 million bid for Harry Grant if the Storm hooker heads to free agency on November 1. Grant, last year's Golden Boot winner, is off-contract after next season and is understood to be weighing up lifestyle factors, with family ties to Queensland and the NSW coast putting the Titans and Knights on his radar. Newcastle may struggle to afford him, but the Titans will have significant cap space from 2028 and believe Grant could turn their young spine into a premiership contender. Coach Josh Hannay worked with Grant during four Origin campaigns. Storm chairman Matt Tripp remains hopeful of keeping his captain, saying he wants Grant to finish his career in Melbourne.
