Tyrell Sloan's move to Castleford confirmed, ending Dragons hopes
Tyrell Sloan's move to Castleford has been confirmed, ending hopes he could remain at St George Illawarra. The 24-year-old will head to England within the next month to begin a two-year deal, joining former Dragons teammates Damien Cook and Matt Feagai. There were doubts over the move after Castleford sacked coach Ryan Carr, who was key to Sloan's signing, and following Sloan's strong finish to the season. The Dragons looked at ways to free up salary cap space to keep him but fell short. Sloan leaves the club with 59 tries from 97 games.
