Titans and Zane Harrison locked in contract stand-off ahead of November 1
The Titans are in a protracted contract dispute with young halfback Zane Harrison, who is off-contract at the end of 2027 and free to negotiate with rivals from November 1. Gold Coast opened talks in March and have offered a three-year extension worth at least $500,000 a season, but the two sides remain apart, with Harrison's camp also seeking an upgrade on his current deal of around $250,000 for next season. Harrison has been linked to the PNG Chiefs, though his manager Sam Ayoub denied reports he is seeking $900,000 a season. Titans football boss Scott Sattler is confident of keeping the Gold Coast junior, describing him as central to the club's premiership plans.
