England and France cram NRL rules ahead of World Cup
The Rugby League World Cup will be officiated under NRL rules, so England and France have added study sessions to training ahead of the tournament. Several NRL rules aren't used in the Super League. Ruck infringements deep in a team's own half draw a full penalty instead of a six-again. Drawn games will also go to golden point. English referees Chris Kendall, Liam Moore and Tara Jones are in Australia for the tournament and will also need to adapt.
