Nov 1 preview: Saifiti, Utoikamanu and Nanai headline clubs' re-signing calls
With the November 1 transfer window approaching, several clubs are moving on key re-signings. Newcastle have offered Jacob Saifiti a new deal and expect him to stay, though a big offer from a rival could tempt him. Manly are set to re-sign brothers Onitoni and Ashton Large. Parramatta are in talks with Jack Williams and are expected to table offers to young forwards Sam Tuivaiti and Luca Moretti. The Wests Tigers are unlikely to lock up Samuela Fainu before November 1, meaning rivals can make offers, but they will try to keep his brother Latu. Melbourne have put a long-term offer to Stefano Utoikamanu and are also prioritising Xavier Coates and Josh King. Canberra have opened talks with Xavier Savage, while North Queensland's Jeremiah Nanai is likely to test the market after an injury-hit season, with the Cowboys taking a wait-and-see approach.
