Brandon Smith re-signs with Rabbitohs until 2028

Brandon Smith has committed to South Sydney, signing a one-year extension that keeps him at the club through 2028. The hooker was due to come off contract at the end of 2027 and would have been free to negotiate with rival clubs from November 1. The Rabbitohs have also approved a new deal for David Fifita and lifted their offer to Cody Walker, while Latrell Mitchell's future will be decided after the World Cup and pre-season.
