Souths prepared to wait until March for Latrell Mitchell talks

A deal won't be reached before November 1, meaning Mitchell will technically be free to field offers from other clubs for the 2028 season and beyond, though CEO Blake Solly says relations remain strong and the delay is intentional — allowing Mitchell to focus on a possible World Cup campaign and pre-season first before further talks.
